The Card Players — A Story
A card game on an Istanbul street, told in three frames — a hand studied in private, the table seen low across the cards, and the player who finally looked up.
[ Series manifesto ]
Another street story, shot in the time it takes to lose a hand of cards. I stayed quiet at the edge of the table, then put the camera flat on it, and at the end he raised his eyes to me. Three frames, in order.
