Sunglasses and Marigolds
The sunglasses surprised me.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
Everything else about him was old custom, the painted face and the beads and the flowers, and then there were these big dark plastic frames. He gave me a half smile when I framed him. I couldn't see his eyes at all, which somehow made the rest of the face louder.
