Roses at the Window
The house was painted blue and the roses had climbed right up to the window.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
She looked out from inside, dressed in red, her face calm in the dark of the room. Another building showed in the reflection of the next pane. I framed her between the flowers and let the color carry it.
