A Cigarette and Quiet
He held a thin rolled cigarette near his mouth and looked off to the side, somewhere I could not follow.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
His hand was worked and stained, the skin of his face creased deep. The light fell only on him and the rest went dark. I stayed back and let him stay where his mind was.
