Freckles
She looked straight back at me without blinking.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
The freckles ran across her nose and cheeks, and a few strands of hair fell loose over her face. The light was soft and the background went black behind her. I kept it close and let her eyes carry the whole frame.
