Behind the Iron
Two kids found me through the glass of a door and pressed their palms flat against it.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
The old iron scrollwork cut across their faces, but their grins came right through. One of them smiled wide, the other watched me sideways. I shot it before they got bored and ran off.
