Out of the Dark
Almost everything around him fell into black, so only his face and the white of his beard came up.
// Story
This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.
He wears a knit cap and heavy glasses, and there is the start of a smile in his eyes. I underexposed on purpose and let the shadow do the rest. He held still long enough for me to be sure of focus.
