Untitled Portraits — India / 18Resting Between Things
An older man in a patterned turban and worn light clothes sits with his arm resting on his raised knee — fine art portrait by Sefa Yamak, India series.

Pushkar, India · 2018

Resting Between Things

He sat down on the ground to rest and folded one leg up, resting his forearm across the knee.

This story imagines, it does not document. It is what the photograph made me feel.

His shirt is soft from washing and patched in places. The turban is dark and printed with small dots, wound high. I like how thin his wrist looks against all that fabric.
